check your gauges, hoses, belts, etc often. I was heading to a final exam and luckily happened to glance at my temp guage and noticed it was at 3/4. Immediately turned the heater on high, slowed down, and nursed it to a gas station. By then it was close to pinned. I had a small hole in the lower radiator hose right where it connects in to the engine. Let it cool down, filled it with water and slowly drove it home and grabbed the daily driver. Would not have been a good day if I had burned up my motor due to a lack of attention. Whew.....
